Zaid Gabriel
BDS, MQI, MHSc, DMD
Dr. Gabriel, is a general dentist who earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of Manitoba in 2013. He is an internationally trained dentist as well, embarked on his journey in dentistry in 2000, earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Yet, his aspiration for postgraduate excellence led him to transcend borders and continents.
After practicing as a general dentist for several years back home, Dr. Gabriel’s commitment to the highest standards of care has led him to pursue his dream of postgraduate scholarship. Venturing to the heart of Europe, he successfully acquired a Master’s in Health Care Quality Improvement and Leadership Development from the esteemed University of Helsinki in Finland. His quest for knowledge did not cease there; he further enriched his intellect with a Master’s of Health Science degree in Bioethics from University of Toronto.
Dr. Gabriel is a believer of preventative and conservative dentistry. He believes patients should be free from pain, experience comfort during their visits, and be empowered to make informed decisions regarding their oral health. His dedication to excellence is further evidenced by his extensive education, which has fortified his expertise in restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatment, teeth extractions, and dentures. Dr. Gabriel proudly maintains his membership in the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association.
Yet, Dr. Gabriel is not just an advocate of professionalism; he brings a lighthearted spirit to his work. Laughter often permeates the dental office, attesting to the harmonious atmosphere he cultivates. In his leisure hours, Dr. Gabriel finds comfort in the embrace of the great outdoors, where he cherishes moments spent with his beloved wife and two children, Maya and Mark. The rhythm of Latin dance also strikes a chord with his heart, prompting him to participate in social events whenever a babysitter can be secured for his children.

Hi, I’m Shernette! I started my dental career after 13 years as a Spa manager and wanted a change and challenge in my career. Working in dentistry since 2013 has expanded my knowledge in oral health which also impacts our overall health is important to share with people. Landed in 2022 at Hamilton City Dental. Helping people and bringing a smile on someone’s face, making them feel comfortable and safe is very rewarding. What I do enjoy most of all is spending time with my 4 kids, watching a great football game ”go Steelers”! and taking to the trails for a great run.

Registered Dental Hygienist
My name is Anna Janusiewicz and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist. I graduated from St. Clair College in 2014 and shortly after moved out to British Columbia to practice hygiene and explore life! My passion in Dental hygiene is the connection I am able to make with my patients, and the hope that everyone leaves with a smile. My interests in life involve the outdoors, especially biking and camping, spending time with friends and continuing to learn to grow myself. We hope to see you in the office!

My name is Emma Huard, I am a registered dental hygienist. I graduated from Niagara College as an honours student in 2021. My goal is to provide effective yet gentle care to each and every patient. I love building relationships and working with my patients collaboratively to better not only their smile but their overall health. Outside of the dental clinic I love cooking, crafts, concerts and spending time with my friends/family. I hope to see you in our office!

My name is Viktoriya and I'm a level II dental assistant. I was born in Ukraine and moved to Canada in 2002. I speak English, Ukrainian, and Russian. Through the years in Toronto I graduated from Ryerson with a Bachelor of Sociology degree. I then made a career change and went to Durham College for dental assisting where I got my first position as a student half way through my program and have been practicing dental assisting for over 10 years now. I've been in Hamilton for 8 years and my hobbies include weight training, yoga, and travel. I love animals, being outside and reading. At work, I enjoy making my patients comfortable and smile . Looking forward to seeing you at the office.

Hi, my name is Maha. I'm a registered dental assistant and I am the newest member of our team! You will find me alongside the doctors, assisting in dental procedures, cleaning operatories and sterilizing instruments. The best part of my job is getting to know our patients. I am experienced in a variety of treatment modalities performed each day. In my spare time, I love to listen to music, hangout with my kids, and cook.
